I’ve Started Working Again – How Do I Balance?

So much has happened recently, that I don’t really know where to begin…

Actually, I won’t go into it. It was almost a year ago (in July) when I decided to close my former blog, Coupon Friendly. This was my business for 7 whole years, but I felt a major prompting to let it go. I ignored this feeling for several months. And no, I haven’t started a new business. I’ve decided to help my husband out with a business he owns, focusing on customer support and social media.

As an introvert, I cringe at the idea of dealing with other people. But thankfully, there’s no phone support – only e-mail support. THAT, I can do! I’m able to put in between 10-15 hours a week, so this can bring in a little bit of extra income.

If you haven’t heard about the business, it’s called One Card – a digital business card:

“One Card® is the standard for digital business cards that works on Smartphones, Tablets and computers with NO APP required. One Card creates a digital hub where your customers can pick and choose how they connect with you. For example, you can list your standard contact information, a video introduction, a bio telling a little more about yourself, all of your social networks in one place and an info center, which allows you to create a digital brochure.”

This transition into working again has proven to be challenging. But I feel that when I can organize my schedule better, my days will run smoother. I’m sure I’m preaching to the choir when I say this, but being a WAHM with 6 kids is no walk in the park.

So my question to my readers who understand the struggle of being a WAHM, what’s your advice on how to balance work and home? Let me know in the comments below!
