Couponing is my thang!
Look at me all trying to be a hip mom with old-fashioned slang words. But seriously, I love couponing. To me, it’s my way of lending a helping hand to my husband in our finances. Both of us own our own businesses – or in short, we’re self-employed. Paychecks aren’t routinely found in our bank account, meaning we get paid when our projects are finished. So with having no guarantee of money on the typical bi-weekly Fridays like most others, often times we have to make our money stretch, just in case the unexpected happens. This is the part where I come in with my paper and printable coupons.
I make my shopping list off of the obvious supplies we need, but also what all I have in coupons so that I’m saving the most money. I was grateful to receive the opportunity to review a couple coupon organizers from Ultra Pro.
Here are a few things you need to know about these binders:
1.) The Ultra Pro’s binders come in 3 different sizes:
- 3-ring binder (I received this one)
- 4-pocket organizer (I received this one)
- 9 pocket organizer
2.) The 3-ring binder comes with 40 pages of clear pages
According to the Ultra Pro website, you’ll find these size page pockets:
- 10 each – 9 pocket pages (pocket size – 2 ½” x 3 ½”)
- 10 each – 8 pocket pages (pocket size – 3 ⅞” x 2 ¾”)
- 10 each – 3 pocket pages (pocket size – 7 ⅞” x 3 ⅝”)
- 5 each – 6 pocket pages (pocket size – 2 ½” x 5 ¼”)
- 5 each – 1 pocket pages (pocket size – 8 ½” x 11”)
3.) These organizers come in a variety of patterns and designs
You can combine the binder and the smaller coupon organizers and have the same design on all three of them.
4.) The organizers all add a Coupon Terminology page
This cheat sheet is perfect for new couponers who don’t know the abbreviations and definitions of coupon terms.
These coupon organizers are definitely nice-quality. The clear page sheets feel quite sturdy and keep my coupons in place. I’ve used the 4-page organizer during shopping trips with my two toddlers, which has helped me tremendously. Before reviewing these, I placed the coupons in my hands while shopping. Too many times, they would become wrinkled (and even sometimes ripped) while trying to handle shopping AND keeping my girls chilled.
Because I mean, come on…shopping with little ones is, at most times, a wreck.
My purse is too small for the 4-pocket organizer, but I can store this easily in my diaper bag if needed. I would not mind trying out their coupon portfolio. The binder, I feel is more for the kid-less extreme couponer with a few hours to spare (for those big shopping trips).
If you have a couponer in your life (whether an extreme or small money-saver), you should definitely look into Ultra Pro and take a gander through their selection. Great quality, fun designs, and easy to use. The holidays are right around the corner. Surprise them with a coupon binder! Snag them as low as $6.99 and up to $19.99.
