Chocolate Chips Cookies with only 5 Ingredients #makeityours #ad

This past year, I have grown quite fond of baking. Anything that looks appetizing, I have to find a recipe for it and make it right away! Today, my three-year-old and I decided to make some super simple chocolate chip cookies with only five ingredients. She’s a great helper, by the way! One of the ingredients included Country Crock butter sticks.


So while it does only need five ingredients, you can add a couple more to your liking.

Here are the ingredients:

3/4 cup Brown sugar, packed

1 cup of flour

One stick of Country Crock butter (or 1/2 cup)

One egg

1 cup of chocolate chips

(optional: 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, pinch of salt)


Mix brown sugar, egg, better together until smooth. Add the flour in and stir well. Lastly, combine the chocolate chips in the mix.

Place dough in refrigerator for one hour.

Preheat your oven to 350°

Use cookie scoop to divide dough into y’all on a greased cookie sheet (or use parchment paper)

Leave in oven for 8 to 10 minutes

Allow to cool for 10 to 15 minutes on a cookie rack

Enjoy a with a glass of milk!


We decorated our cookies with melted almond bark and pink sprinkles, since pink is my daughter’s favorite color. It was definitely an enjoyable time with my little baker!

What I love about the Country Crock brand is how quick it softens to room temperature. Often times, baking recipes with butter in them request the better to be softened, and this better is fast in doing so. I not only use their sticks of butter, but I also use their spread for cooking. It’s taste is amazing!
