Boys are fun to shop for, in my opinion. I have two boys who have their own unique personalities, and it can often show with how they dress. My 4 year old likes basketball, so his favorite outfits include basketball shorts. My goofy 7-year old shows off his skateboarding skills, along with playing his favorite game: Minecraft! What a great way to express more of his personality by grabbing some SK2 brand clothes from Kmart.
The SK2 brand line is so likable. I grew up as a tomboy, and I favored the skater look as well. I must say that my son really pulled off this look. The shirt and jeans fit comfortably on him, and the Joe Boxer blue plaid slip on shoes worked right in! I never thought this purple-like color would have worked on guys in general, but it does – and I love it! And with this outfit only costing me less than $35, he can head off to school in style!
Many of my close friends and family have asked, “How would I be able to save money like you do?” Well, in the case of clothing, here are 6 Tips for saving money on apparel at Kmart:
6 Tips for Saving Money on Apparel at Kmart
1.) Are you a Shop Your Way Rewards member? You can load coupons onto your account and use them at checkout to save money and earn points on your apparel purchase. Be sure to read the terms and exclusions.
2.) Check out their weekly ad! Compare and contrast prices on their latest fashion trends and pick out ones that fit your own budget.
3.) Go online to the Kmart website. You can check out what they have in stock at your local store and purchase them and pick them up for free! It’ll save you the shipping fee.
4.) Mix and Match. Many of these options are around $5, so you can grab a nice-looking school outfit for only $10!
5.) Don’t forget their clearance. Often their clearance has a discount, so instead of paying the $8.99 clearance price, you could get it for 20% off of THAT.
6.) Bring your child! Because children grow, and you want to make sure to get them the right sizes. Otherwise, you’ll be wasting your time going back and forth to the store for those exchanges. And time is money!
Kmart has so many high-quality styles that you can mix and match together, and stay within your budget this school year. Don’t miss out on getting ahold of their deals they obtain throughout the season. If you’re a money saver like I am and have school-aged kids, then use the tips I shared about and head on over to Kmart today! You’ll be glad you did!
