This little smoothie was so easy to make! And with it only being around 250 calories, and replacing sugar with lemon juice, it was a very delicious, healthy snack alternative.
All you need is:
1 cup Frozen Strawberries
4 cups Orange Juice (I used frozen orange juice concentrate, made it per the instructions)
Squeeze of Lemon Juice
1 1/2 cups of ice
Blend all together until smooth. Add orange juice if you want a thinner consistency.
Normally, recipes would add sugar to the mix, but I chose to replace sugar with lemon juice for a healthier alternative.
This recipe can make 2 16 oz. servings, and at around 250 calories each, it’s a pretty good snack idea. My 2 year old daughter and I drank these all up this afternoon. Try them out for yourself, and share this post with your friends!
