I’ve recently discovered a new favorite- making candy bars šŸ˜€ After trying out a recipe for Almond Joy Brownie Bites, which were marvelous by the way, I decided I’d make some Almond Joys!! And I’m happy to announce, they are EXTREMELY easy andĀ DELICIOUS! Although, that could be a bad thing… šŸ™‚ What you’ll need:

Chocolate chips (I used 1/2 milk and 1/2 semi-sweet)
1 bag of shredded coconut
1 can sweetened condensed milk
Slivered almonds
Muffin pan and liners (I used mini, you could also use regular)

Start by lining a muffin pan with paper liners. Melt chocolate in microwave safe bowl, stirring every 15 seconds until smooth.Ā WP_20130809_003Ā Place small spoonful of chocolate in liners; enough to cover the bottom.WP_20130809_001Ā In medium bowl, combine coconut and sweetened condensed milkĀ WP_20130809_002Ā  Using small cookie scoop, put 1 scoop in each liner over chocolate.Ā WP_20130809_005Ā Then cover with chocolate and add almondsĀ WP_20130809_006Ā and presto!! You have Almond Joys!!! Last step, of course, ENJOY!!
