(Disclaimer: I received the Jabra Solemate Mini in exchange for my review. I was under no obligation to give a positive review. The opinions expressed here are 100% my own.)
Okay, so let me just start by saying this: The Jabra product line never ceases to amaze me at it’s high-quality products. Coupon Friendly has had opportunities to review a few Jabra products, such as the Style and Revo. My husband and I are constantly surprised, to say the least.
Coupon Friendly received the opportunity to review the Jabra Solemate Mini. Don’t underestimate its size. The thing is small, but the sound quality will blow you away.
If you have never heard of a Jabra Solemate, read on:
“BIG SOUND. POCKET SIZE.
Designed to go anywhere, the Jabra Solemate™ Mini is the wireless speaker that’s made to move. Ultra-compact size and surprisingly big sound make it the perfect traveling companion. Just add music!” –Jabra Website
Aww it’s so cute. It’s a mini-version of the bigger sized Jabra Solemate.
And I could not have received it at a better time. My husband and I had decided to have a small family get together one night, including dinner and games. As everyone arrived and the meal was about to be served, we heard a knock on the door…low and behold, it was the package I had been waiting for. I was pretty giddy…it was almost pathetic. From the moment I took the Solemate Mini out of the package, everyone started questioning it.
“What is it?”
“Is it battery operated?”
“How can a tiny thing like that make good quality sound?”
Oddly enough, even though I simply adored many of the other Jabra products, I too was a bit skeptical. After turning on my phones’ bluetooth (along with turning on the Jabra Solemate Mini), it took, maybe, 5 seconds to connect. Everyone was impressed already…but I wanted them floored.
As the music started playing through the Solemate, all I kept hearing from everyone was excitement.
“The bass sounds amazing on that.”
“I can’t believe that such a small device can create such big noise.”
This past Sunday, my husband had the privilege to give the church lesson. This was a great way to take advantage of showing off the Jabra Solemate Mini. After the lesson was over, many of the members came up to him and wanted to know more about the Solemate Mini, how much it cost, and where to get one. My husband explained to me that the conversation about the Solemate Mini lasted about 15 minutes. They were greatly impressed by the sound.
I cannot tell you how thrilled I am about having a “no strings attached” bluetooth speaker for my music. Also, to charge it, all you have to do is plug in the USB charger to your computer. It only takes 3 hours to fully charge, with an 8 hour streaming time. Fantastic!
The Jabra Solemate Mini is perfect for traveling, but I personally enjoy listening to music with it in my kitchen, while I’m cooking for my family. Not only does this product offer style, with it’s sleek design, the quality of sound that comes out of the Solemate Mini is by far the best that we’ve heard, compared to those we’ve used in the past.
You can find Jabra Solemate Minis on Amazon.com (orig. $99.99). Be sure to not only check out the Solemate mini, but the other Jabra products as well.
